PTO

The LUA PTO is a group of parents who work together to improve the school experience for the students and teachers by providing support, services and funds to the school.

Activities hosted by the PTO include, but are not limited to: Back to School Bash, Book Fair, Field Day, Annual Dinner auction, Ramadan Bazaar, monthly teacher lunches, Teacher Appreciation Week, and Kroger Community Rewards

Activities funded by the PTO include, but are not limited to: school-wide recognitions, Quran Recognition, KG/5th/8th Graduation, field trip assistance as needed, 8th Grade DC trip fee assistance as needed

There are two levels of PTO membership:

  1. PTO Basic Member: Basic members can submit the enrollment form and pay the $10 per person dues. Dues help the PTO fund activities, and basic members are eligible to vote in school board elections.
  2. PTO Board Member: Board Members can submit the enrollment form and pay the $10 per person dues, which help fund activities, and you become eligible to vote in school board elections. In addition, you will be required to attend the monthly PTO meetings at school, and help organize the activities that PTO hosts throughout the school year. Becoming a PTO Board Member requires 1-2 volunteer hours per month.
