Extended Care

Extended Care is an after school program that is offered to students in PreK-5th grades. It runs Monday-Friday when school is in session, from 3:30-6:00. Families can enroll for either part time or full time care. Registration forms will be sent via Parent Square at the beginning of August; there is rolling admission throughout the school year based on availability. For questions about extended care, please contact Briana at braissi@luaky.org.

Athletics

At LUA, we believe that sports are more than just games, they’re opportunities to grow in character, teamwork, and perseverance. Our athletic program is rooted in passion, dedication, and the pursuit of excellence, offering students the chance to compete, grow, and represent our school with pride each season.

In 2023, we launched our athletics program with the formation of our middle school boys basketball team, proudly joining the Central Kentucky Parochial League. This league includes private schools from Lexington, Nicholasville, Versailles, and Georgetown, offering a competitive yet community-focused environment.

Building on that momentum, 2024 saw the expansion of our basketball program with the formation of both a girls and boys team, giving more students the opportunity to experience the benefits of team sports while continuing to compete in the parochial league.

In 2025, LUA’s athletic offerings grew again with the introduction of our middle school girls volleyball team, which now competes in the Bluegrass Middle School Volleyball League, a vibrant league that emphasizes skill development, sportsmanship, and spirited competition.

We are proud of our student-athletes and coaches who embody the values of hard work, integrity, and unity both on and off the court. With each new season, LUA Athletics continues to grow, and the future is bright.
