TUITION

As a private school, LUA relies solely on tuition, fees, donations, and fundraising activities to support its operations. Tuition and fees help cover the costs of textbooks, instructional materials, staff salaries, and general school operations.

The tuition rate for PreK-8th is $6500 or $650 in 10 month installments (actual cost per year to educate a student is $8,500, which is why LUA depends heavily on donations and community support.)

All tuition must be paid through TUIO. Families need to create an account through TUIO and then can decide which form of payment they would like to use (credit card, ACH, etc..) Please note if paying via credit card there are additional fees.

Other Fees:

New Students (due at the time of registration):

  • An original birth certificate
  • Material Fee: a yearly advance payment fee = $250.00 (not refundable after 1st day of school)
  • Application Fee: a one-time fee for new applicants only = $30.00
  • Enrollment Fee: a one-time fee for new applicants only = $70.00
  • Chromebook fee for 2026-2027 school year

Returning Students:

  • Material Fee:  By May 30th = $250.

All Students:

  • Other fees may be requested throughout the year: special class projects (cost varies), field trips (cost varies, but typically $5-15 per field trip), or school-wide functions (for example, $5 for graduation tassels).

PAYMENT SCHEDULES:

  • 10 installments due the 1st of each month starting in August and ending in May.
  • All financial obligations must be settled before a student will be admitted to any succeeding semester.  Before enrollment for a succeeding school year can be completed, a signed Financial Contract must be on file in the Business Office. 
  • Tuition accounts must be paid in full by May 30th regardless of any deferred payment arrangement.
